Filming of the second season of the series “The Hollow” is underway, produced by SCCA/pro.ba within the BH Content Lab project of BH Telecom. The creators of the series are Danis Tanović and Amra Bakšić Čamo, while the script is signed by Tanović, Bakšić Čamo, Nikola Kuprešanin and Adnan Lugonić. The second season consisting of eight episodes is set in Sarajevo and Zenica.
BH Content Lab as the largest domestic platform for the production of audio-visual content is a key support to the cinema of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and ” The Hollow “, as the first in a series that were created, more than justified the motto under which BH Content Lab operates: “creating quality content”. In addition to the actors from the first season: Feđa Štukan, Boris Ler, Ida Keškić, Mario Knezović, Amar Čustović, Vedran Tuce, Semir Krivić, Vanesa Glođo, in the second season from the cast are joined by: Snežana Vidović, Anita Kajasa, Tarik Filipović, Alen Muratović, Helena Vuković, Faruk Hajdarević, Kaća Dorić, Faketa Salihbegović Avdagić, Lamija Salihović, Edin Avdagić, and Croatian actors Goran Navojac and Leona Paraminski.
The new season of the series partly moves to the second largest city of the same geographical hollow – Zenica, investigating once again an unclear case of murder or suicide. Rudimentary liberal capitalism, pollution, global warming on the one hand, and the energy crisis and plans to switch to clean energy sources are also reflected in our everyday lives. The second season of ” The Hollow ” raises questions of morality, collective and individual, social consciousness, future and belonging.
Synopsis
The second season of the series ” The Hollow ” begins a year after the end of the first season. The body of a Zenica miner was found in the Historical Museum, under the monument to Josip Broz Tito. Everything points to suicide. Inspector Mido Zec decides to check the details, which takes him to Zenica, his hometown. The Zenica police do not have a problem with their colleague from Sarajevo, but Chief Inspector Vera does. Chief Inspector Edib Pašić receives a reward for solving the Haggadah case, but the ceremony is interrupted by a bomb threat. Tanja, Edib’s ex-wife, is also coming to Sarajevo, gathering the old friends at a party – Senči comes as well, paranoid and afraid of revenge by Smajli’s people.
Edib and Mido, in Zenica and Sarajevo, face questions that seem simple at first glance, but they end up investigating not only the cases but also themselves, their lives and life decisions.
