The Film Centre Sarajevo is a public company with a mission to preserve the tradition and heritage of film in Bosnia and Herzegovina as well as the development of film industry and audio-visual sector.
The strategic objectives of the Film Centre Sarajevo are the following:
• Preservation and protection of the largest catalogue of film content in Bosnia and Herzegovina from the 1945 -1992 period;
• Improvement of film industry and audio-visual sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina;
• Improvement of public regulations with the objective of film industry development and harmonisation with positive European practices;
• Promotion of BH film and the whole industry in Bosnia and Herzegovina, region, Europe and the world.
The Film Centre Sarajevo is the legal successor of the former large public companies Bosna Film, Studio Film and Sutjeska Film from the period of the former Yugoslavia.
