Association of Filmmakers
in Bosnia and Herzegovina
The Association of Filmmakers in Bosnia and Herzegovina is a professional organisation that brings together filmmakers, authors and artists who are professionally engaged in film industry.
The Association actively participates in the cultural life of Bosnia and Herzegovina and strives to affirm BH film before wide audiences. Annually, the Association organises BH Film Festival and takes part in presentation of BH films at prestigious film festivals in the world.
The Association was founded in 1950 with about 20 members at the time. Today the Association has 135 members.
Association of Directors
in Bosnia and Herzegovina
The Association of Directors in Bosnia and Herzegovina was established with the objective to improve working conditions for directors in the field of film, theatre, television and new media. The Association aims to improve the quality of films, professionalise working conditions and connect with directors in Bosnia and Herzegovina and abroad.
Every year the Association organises the Day of Hajrudin Šiba Krvavac on his birthday, 22nd December, screening films made by this most watched and the most popular Bosnian director, followed by conversations and socialising with the audience.
Association of Cinematographers
in Bosnia and Herzegovina
The Association of Cinematographers in Bosnia and Herzegovina is an association of professional film and TV cinematographers. It was established in 2010 and it is active on the whole territory of Bosnia and Hercegovina.
The Association aims to develop cooperation within this professional field, improve conditions and quality of work, protect film occupations and promote film art. The Association has 32 members today gathering directors of photography, camera operators, gaffers and stage technicians.
The Association of Cinematographers in BiH is a member of the IMAGO International Federation of Cinematographers and actively participates at the IMAGO Balkan Conference and BalKam.
